Terms of Use and Sale
These terms apply to use of freesplash.co.uk and orders placed with Free Splash. Contact us using the contact form.
Using the website
You may use the website for lawful personal shopping. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, or use automated tools in a way that harms the service. Product images, descriptions, branding, and site content may not be reused without permission except where the law allows.
Products and condition
We take reasonable care with descriptions, images, prices, and condition grades. Minor manufacturing or print variations are not necessarily defects. A single card that differs materially from its stated grade should be reported promptly.
Prices and minimum order
Prices are in pounds sterling. Free Splash is not VAT registered, so VAT is not charged. The minimum merchandise subtotal is £2.50 after discounts, excluding delivery. Delivery charges are shown before you place the order.
Ordering and contract formation
The checkout lets you review and correct your order before submitting it. Your order is an offer to buy. An automated order acknowledgement confirms receipt, not acceptance. We accept the order when we send dispatch confirmation. If we cannot accept an order, including because of a stock or pricing error, we will notify you and refund any payment taken.
Payment
Stripe processes card payments securely. By submitting payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method. We do not store full card numbers.
Delivery
We currently deliver within the UK. We aim to dispatch by the end of the next business day. Carrier delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or a person you identify. Full charges and practices are in our Shipping Policy.
Cancellation, returns, and faulty goods
Consumers normally have 14 days after delivery to tell us they are cancelling, followed by 14 days to return the goods. You may inspect goods as you could in a shop, but we may reduce a refund for handling beyond that which diminishes value. Your statutory rights for faulty, damaged, incorrect, or misdescribed goods are separate and are not limited by the cancellation policy. See the Returns and Refunds Policy for instructions, costs, and refund timing.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for business losses arising from a consumer order. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.
Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by Scots law. If you are a consumer, you retain any mandatory protections of the law where you live and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a complaint.
